Current Projects
Through carefully selected projects, the foundation seeks to bring specific material support and healing inspiration to distressed communities both within the U.S. and in other countries–focusing on direct aid, charitable giving and community outreach.
Empathetic Listening and Compassionate Training
Our Empathetic Listening and Compassionate Training program provides one-on-one services such as mindfulness and meditation, trauma-informed practice, and financial literacy. Supported by Peter Buffett’s NoVo Foundation.
The 'You Are Beautiful, I Am Beautiful' Project
The ‘You Are Beautiful, I Am Beautiful’ program has been developed in Upstate New York and involves music, role-playing therapies, and the use of simple mantras for the benefit of the homeless, developmentally disabled, and mentally ill.
Aid for Nepalese
Nunnery & Children
We’ve been been providing ongoing support to selected Tibetan projects in northern Nepal since the Gorkha earthquake ravaged the area in April 2015. Currently we’re raising support to help the Shri Sengedrak Ngedhon Samten Choeling nunnery and retreat center–located in the mountains about 90 miles north of Kathmandu.
A Primary School in Liberia
Since 2021 the One Drop of Kindness Foundation has been supporting the non-profit organization Advancing Educational Projects in Liberia, which assists single mothers and unemployed adolescents, beginning with the preparation of a master plan for an agricultural and educational campus on a two-acre site in SandTown, Buchanan, Liberia. After site clearance and fencing, vegetables were planted and buildings constructed for livestock (pigs, goats, ducks, chickens, and bees), and for gari and palm kernel oil and cake production.
For Christmas 2023, the Foundation sponsored meals and provided school books and pencils for 150 children in the local community.
In February 2026 we provided funds for the first phase of a primary school in the nearby village of Kono for children up to 15 years who do not have the financial resources or transportation to attend existing schools. A five-acre site has been cleared, timber gathered, and the school is scheduled to open in September 2026.
